From Plantation to Peace Process.

This comprehensive history charts the major events that have shaped county Fermanagh from the days of the Ulster Plantation. Margaret Urwin looks particularly at the recent conflict in Fermanagh, detailing every death. Using official, declassified British and Irish government documents, the book examines how the Irish state co-operated with its British counterpart on border security.  It also explores the validity, or otherwise, of claims of ‘ethnic cleansing'.
